EuroMat brings home the Edinburgh Marathon
TrakMats Europe Ltd along with one of their key distributors Beaver 84 provided the EuroMat, Europe’s leading ground protection and temporary access mat, for the approach to the finish line of this year's Edinburgh Marathon that took place on 23rd May. Approximately 2,000m2 was installed to provide a safe, stable and effective running surface for over 20,000 runners. Using EuroMat also meant that the grounds of Musselburgh Racecourse, where the race finished, were protected from damage. Due to its performance EuroMat will also be used in next years Edinburgh Marathon.
The Edinburgh Marathon, originally launched in 2003 and now in its 8th year, is the second largest marathon in the UK and is the largest mass participation event taking place in Scotland this year.

Announcing a new distributor for TrakMat®
On Monday 18 January 2010, Ground Access Hire, based in Wales, launched themselves into the distribution market for the use of the TrakMat® system.
Ground Access Hire will be providing TrakMats® products for hire throughout the UK, providing an efficient delivery, installation, decommissioning and collection service.
